Journalist lost her job a day after promotion at the State Department

Former ESPN reporter Britt McHenry was filmed throwing a drink at a fan during an NBA game after he insulted player Kyle Kuzma and his fiancée. The incident occurred at the Capital One Arena in Washington, D.C. Following the altercation, McHenry was escorted out of the venue. Reports indicate that she reacted after the fan made misogynistic remarks towards her when she confronted him. Shortly after being promoted to a new role in the State Department, McHenry was forced to resign within 24 hours. This incident follows a similar situation involving White House spokesperson Katie Zacharia, who was dismissed after just five days in her position.
