Today in the sky, a spectacular show. We will see it with the naked eye.

The conjunction of the Moon and Saturn will be visible shortly after sunset, with optimal viewing conditions around 6 to 6:30 PM. Observers should look high above the southeast horizon, where a nearly full Moon will be visible alongside Saturn. The Moon will be 97% illuminated, while the actual distances from Earth are approximately 384,000 kilometers for the Moon and 1.4 billion kilometers for Saturn. This celestial event can be enjoyed throughout the night, provided the sky is clear, and is best viewed away from city lights. Binoculars or telescopes can enhance the experience by revealing details on the Moon's surface. Future conjunctions are expected on November 21 and December 18.
