Balázs Dzsudzsák returned his diplomatic passport with a handwritten letter

Former Hungarian national team captain Balázs Dzsudzsák returned his diplomatic passport, as reported by 444.hu. He sent a handwritten letter to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs acknowledging their decision and stating he was returning the passport. The letter, dated July 2, was signed with his real name, unlike the previous request signed as "Tesóka". The Ministry proposed to revoke 943 of the 1322 diplomatic passports issued by the previous government, including Dzsudzsák's, which he had received in 2019 and renewed in 2022. György László Velkey, a state secretary, previously shared the email where Dzsudzsák requested the passport, citing his role in sports diplomacy as the national team captain.
