So far, they are still collecting green waste in Budapest

The collection of green waste in Budapest will continue until December 11. Residents are advised to place their green waste out by 4 AM on collection days. The waste will be composted rather than burned or sent to landfills, contributing to environmental protection. Only green waste should be placed in designated bags, and branches must be tied and cut to specific sizes. The cleanliness of the waste is crucial for producing quality compost. Any non-compliant waste will not be collected. Additionally, a warning has been issued to vacation home owners by the water utility association.
