A livestream and hundreds of people follow how the historic station of Vught is being moved fourteen meters.

The historic Vught station is being moved 13.6 meters to accommodate a new railway design, allowing for the removal of five level crossings. The relocation, which weighs approximately 700,000 kilograms, is being closely followed by hundreds of spectators, including descendants of those connected to the station's past during WWII. The project aims to enhance safety in the area, as emphasized by local officials. The station's historical significance is highlighted by personal stories from attendees, including a woman whose grandfather helped people escape from transport trains during the war. The move is expected to be completed by the end of the day, with the area fully developed by 2030.
