One-way traffic IJssel lifted again after rain in recent days

Shipping on the IJssel between IJsselkop and Zutphen can now navigate in both directions due to recent rainfall. Rijkswaterstaat announced the lifting of the one-way traffic rule, which had been reinstated ten days ago due to low water levels. The water depth has now reached the required 1.45 meters, allowing safe passage for vessels. However, Rijkswaterstaat cautions that the drought period is not over and water levels will continue to be monitored closely, with potential restrictions if levels drop again.
