First heavy showers move across the country, power outages in France and England

Meanwhile, severe weather in France and England has caused power outages for over 161,000 households, with wind gusts reaching up to 140 km/h. Both countries are implementing measures to mitigate disruptions, including transport restrictions and school closures.
