V8 revving up to the skies and a manual gearbox in the latest retro Audi

A British company, Audacious Automotive, is reviving the iconic Audi Quattro in a restomod format, based on the B7 Audi RS4. The Audacious IV promises an analog driving experience with a six-speed manual transmission and all-wheel drive, powered by a classic 4.2-liter V8 engine. Customers can choose from four powertrain options, including supercharged versions producing 600 and 750 horsepower, and a high-revving model capable of 10,000 RPM. The limited edition of 50 units boasts a 0-100 km/h acceleration time of 3.4 seconds and a top speed of 320 km/h. Priced at £350,000, the car is 250 kg lighter than the RS4, excluding the cost of the donor vehicle needed for the three-year transformation.
