A 12-year-old girl and a 14-year-old boy assaulted and then robbed a man in Salgótarján

On October 29, in Salgótarján, a man reported to a patrol officer that he had been assaulted and robbed. The police quickly identified two youths matching the suspect descriptions. A 14-year-old boy and a 12-year-old girl had approached the victim near a tobacco shop, where the girl convinced the boy to steal the man's wallet. They followed the 48-year-old man home, but the boy's attempt to discreetly take the wallet from the man's pocket failed. The man was unharmed, and the boy later discarded the wallet. Both youths were taken to the police station, where the boy was questioned on suspicion of robbery and subsequently detained, with a request for his arrest initiated.
