A marathon runner was caught with a recipe for a fake doctor, receiving a six-year ban.

Ruti Aga, a 32-year-old runner, has been banned for six years due to the presence of the banned substance methylprednisolone in her system after winning a half marathon in China. She claimed the drug was prescribed by an Ethiopian doctor for knee pain. The ban consists of two years for using the prohibited substance and an additional four years for manipulating the investigation. Aga has previously achieved success in major marathons, including multiple podium finishes in Berlin and Tokyo.
