A top fugitive was caught at a factory near Brno

A 28-year-old Ukrainian-Hungarian man, B. Dániel, was arrested in the Czech Republic for robbery and drug possession. He was previously sentenced to prison for robbing a foreign man in Budapest. After the crime, he returned to the scene and attempted to break into parked cars, where he was recognized and detained by the victim's relative until police arrived. Despite being due to report to prison months earlier, he evaded capture, leading to national and international warrants. Authorities discovered he was hiding in the Czech Republic and coordinated with local police to locate him. He was arrested on October 27 near Brno, and extradition proceedings are currently underway, with a court decision expected soon.
