The City Council activates aid for those affected by the riots
The Barcelona City Council has allocated half a million euros to assist businesses affected by recent disturbances. This funding aims to support merchants in filing insurance claims and expediting repairs to restore normal operations. Mayor Jaume Collboni announced this initiative during a meeting with affected business representatives, including regional officials and various commercial associations. The council plans to enhance alert systems for commercial protection and will participate in legal proceedings to address damages and assign responsibility. A dedicated service will also be established to streamline assistance for the impacted businesses.
