The Broad Front calls for Puente's appearance in Congress over the Toledo accident

The Frente Amplio has urgently requested the appearance of Transport Minister Óscar Puente in Congress to explain the recent train accident in Toledo. Ada Colau, a candidate for the presidency, emphasized the need for transparency and accountability. The coalition previously demanded an independent audit of the railway network, labeling the recurrence of such serious accidents within the same year as unacceptable. They have suspended public activities to express condolences to the victims' families and supported a minute of silence organized by the Spanish Federation of Municipalities and Provinces. The next permanent committee meeting is scheduled for November 12, which may affect the timing of Puente's appearance.
