The Government approves a grant of 201 million to private developers to build 2,500 public housing units

The Spanish government has approved a €201 million subsidy for private developers to build 2,500 affordable rental homes. This initiative, announced by Minister Isabel Rodríguez, aims to accelerate the construction of affordable housing managed by Casa 47. The projects will be located in various provinces, including Málaga and Valencia, and will ensure that the homes remain protected and affordable for 75 years. The subsidy can cover up to 60% of the necessary investment, with strict conditions to maintain affordability based on family income. Casa 47 has already activated over 7,000 homes in less than a year, with plans to increase rental options significantly.
