The Government returns migrants from the massive entry in Ceuta to Morocco after denying them international protection
The Spanish government returned 16 Sub-Saharan migrants to Morocco after denying them international protection. This action differs from previous voluntary returns, as these individuals did not appeal the decision. The National Police also delivered asylum denial resolutions to more migrants at the Temporary Immigrant Stay Center. Since early August, many migrants have been returning voluntarily, with around 13,000 having returned to Morocco since August 10. The government claims these returns are legal, despite some associations arguing they are irregular. The Minister of Territorial Policy will provide further details on the situation soon.
