The judge asks Heritage to clarify the gifts to the Presidency of the Government from 2004 to 2011 to clarify the origin of Zapatero's jewels
The judge investigating the Plus Ultra case has requested information from Patrimonio Nacional regarding gifts received by the Presidency from 2004 to 2011, during José Luis Rodríguez Zapatero's term. Judge José Luis Calama aims to clarify the origin of jewelry valued at 1.3 million euros, which Zapatero claims were a gift from the Saudi monarchy in 2007. He has given the administration two days to respond before deciding on an international request for information to Saudi Arabia, as suggested by the former president.
