The PP renounces to run for the Senate in Girona, Tarragona, and Guipuzkoa, and Vox in six provinces
The PP and Vox have agreed to collaborate for the upcoming Senate elections, with the PP not running in three provinces and Vox in six. This strategy aims to maintain a right-wing majority against the PSOE coalition. The PP will not present candidates in Guipuzkoa, Girona, and Tarragona, while Vox will not run in Las Palmas, Santa Cruz de Tenerife, Cádiz, Valencia, Castellón, and the Balearic Islands. Instead, the PP will include an independent candidate in these areas. Vox will present candidates in fourteen provinces, allowing voters to choose from both parties. PP's Miguel Tellado expressed satisfaction with the agreement, emphasizing its importance for Spain's political landscape.
