The entrepreneur who killed two electricians will remain in prison for the rest of his life

The Győr Court upheld a life sentence for a contractor who murdered two electricians. The first victim was killed in June 2015 after being lured under the pretense of a work meeting. The contractor, who had been in construction for over 20 years in Austria, needed an excavator for his property but couldn't afford one. He asked an acquaintance to rent it for him and then decided to kill him to keep the machine. The second murder occurred in March 2018, when he killed another subcontractor over an unpaid debt. The court sentenced him to life imprisonment and a 14.5 million HUF fine. The ruling is now final, and neither victim's body has been found.
