Life imprisonment was requested for the murderer on Üllői Road

A 26-year-old man is facing trial for murder after fatally stabbing an acquaintance in Budapest last July. The incident occurred during a night of drinking when a dispute escalated, leading the accused to attack the victim with a knife. Despite attempts to escape, the victim succumbed to his injuries shortly after. The accused later returned to the scene and called emergency services, where he was arrested. The prosecution is seeking a life sentence, with the possibility of parole after 25 years if the defendant confesses.
