An arrest warrant has been issued against Ádám Matolcsy

György Matolcsy and associates were detained as suspects in an investigation related to the MNB case, according to the Central Investigative Prosecutor's Office. Alongside Matolcsy, representatives from a private equity fund and a lawyer involved in a securities transaction were also arrested. International arrest warrants were issued for two additional individuals, including Matolcsy's son, Adam Matolcsy, linked to economic fraud. The investigation focuses on the establishment of Pallas Athéné Foundations under Matolcsy's leadership, which allegedly mismanaged public funds. The prosecutor's office conducted searches at multiple locations, seizing evidence, while Matolcsy's lawyer stated he is cooperating with authorities.
