The meeting between Anita Orbán and Marco Rubio has been postponed because the American Secretary of State went to Texas with Trump.
The meeting between Hungarian Foreign Minister Anita Orbán and U.S. Senator Marco Rubio has been postponed at the request of the American side due to Rubio accompanying Donald Trump on a trip to Texas. The meeting is now rescheduled for later in the week. This would have been Orbán's first visit to the U.S. as foreign minister. In a recent interview, she emphasized the shared values between the U.S. and Hungary, aiming to maintain good relations established by the previous Hungarian government. Rubio has not visited Hungary since the government change, although he met with Viktor Orbán in Budapest earlier this year.
