A Hungarian woman's wheelchair worth one million was stolen at Malaga airport
A wheelchair worth over one million HUF was stolen from a Hungarian woman at Malaga Airport in October. Emese Lakatos arrived in Spain after winning a marathon and found only an airport wheelchair waiting for her. The family seeks compensation from the airline, claiming it failed to check the baggage tag properly. Emese had waited five years for her wheelchair, which she received shortly before the trip. She now has to use an old, damaged wheelchair until a solution is found. Wizzair stated that security footage showed her wheelchair was delivered to the plane door, from where it was likely taken by other passengers. The Spanish police are investigating the incident.
