Elon Musk poured 146 billion forints into the Republican Party ahead of the midterm elections

Elon Musk has donated at least $445.77 million to Republican-affiliated political action committees since last year, becoming the largest single-cycle donor in U.S. history. Despite claiming he would stop large political donations after supporting Trump's 2024 campaign with nearly $300 million, Musk increased his contributions, particularly in the final two months of the election cycle. Most of his funds went to Republican Super PACs, with $216 million directed to his own America PAC, which focuses on various congressional races. The PAC spent heavily in Texas, particularly in a competitive Senate race. Musk's total donations exceed his previous campaign support and surpass contributions from all major Silicon Valley donors combined, although they represent only a fraction of his vast wealth.
