An investigation has been ordered regarding the 475 billion HUF support of the Kisfaludy program
An investigation has been initiated regarding the Kisfaludy Program, following a report involving 475 billion HUF. Minister István Kapitány emphasized accountability for misuse of public funds. The Ministry of Economic and Energy Affairs filed a complaint in October, suspecting mismanagement and cartel behavior related to the program's funding. Between 2018 and 2026, over 475 billion HUF was allocated, with more than half awarded through non-competitive decisions. The report highlighted concerns over opaque evaluation criteria and potential manipulation of application conditions. Notable cases include significant funding for projects linked to influential figures.
