The Israeli and Greek navies sank a warship, the missiles performed well.
Israel and Greece recently conducted a joint naval exercise in the northern part of the Cretan Sea, testing new guided missiles developed by Israel's Rafael company. The missiles were launched from the Greek Navy's Machitis-class gunboat and a Mark V Special Operations Craft. During the exercise, a torpedo was also fired from a submarine, successfully sinking the retired Greek frigate HS Bouboulina F 463. The exercise utilized two types of precision-guided weapons: Spike Non-Line-of-Sight (NLOS) and Spike Extended Range (ER2), both of which were successfully launched. The Spike NLOS has a range of up to 32 kilometers, allowing naval units to engage surface and coastal targets effectively.
