Gyárfás Tamás's request for a retrial in the Fenyő case has been rejected

The Budapest Court of Appeals rejected Tamás Gyárfás's request for retrial regarding his conviction for inciting the murder of János Fenyő. The court found that the statements provided did not meet the legal requirements for new evidence. Gyárfás's lawyer has eight days to appeal this decision to the Curia. Gyárfás was sentenced to seven years in prison after being found guilty of inciting the murder, with his defense claiming new evidence could prove his innocence. The lawyer believes these new findings could clarify that Gyárfás did not order Fenyő's murder.
