Behind on its train deliveries in Germany, Alstom issues a new warning about its results
Alstom has warned shareholders that its first half of the 2026-2027 financial year will significantly underperform expectations. The company reported an operating margin of -4%, compared to the anticipated 6.4%, and an 8% decrease in production. Although the free cash flow remains negative, it is less severe than expected at -1.25 billion euros. For the entire fiscal year, Alstom forecasts a margin of only 1% and a free cash flow around -1.5 billion euros. This follows a previous profit warning in April that led to a 27.15% drop in stock price. CEO Martin Sion noted that the upcoming results do not align with prior forecasts.
