Students protest in the streets of Lisbon against the unfreezing of tuition fees

In Lisbon, around 300 students protested against the government's plan to increase tuition fees and other costs for displaced students. The demonstration was supported by members of the PCP, Livre, and Bloco de Esquerda. Students expressed their concerns about the perceived attack on education and highlighted similar protests at the University of Minho. Another gathering is planned for November 18, coinciding with the start of the budget voting for 2027.
