EU to press Canada and UK for more Ukraine funding

The EU is seeking to encourage Canada and the U.K. to enhance their financial support for Ukraine amid a €70 billion funding shortfall for next year. Upcoming summits will provide opportunities for Brussels to advocate for increased contributions from these non-EU allies, especially as U.S. support remains uncertain. Currently, the EU and its member states account for 80% of Ukraine's external aid, highlighting the urgent need for additional partners to assist.
