Maria Zakharova, spokesperson for the Russian Foreign Ministry, stated that Europe can send representatives for peace talks regarding the Ukraine war, but only those who wish to maintain relations with Moscow. She emphasized that the doors are always open for such discussions. However, she insisted that European politicians must change their communication approach before participating in negotiations. Among potential European candidates for dialogue with Russia are Slovak Prime Minister Robert Fico and Italian Prime Minister Giorgia Meloni, among others. Czech President Petr Pavel noted that Putin does not view the EU as an authoritative entity anymore.
