European force to hold first Ukraine support exercise in Poland

A military exercise involving 2,800 troops from 10 European nations will take place in Poland from November 9 to 22, aimed at supporting Ukraine post-ceasefire. The Multinational Force – Ukraine (MNF-U), led by France and the UK, is designed to enhance Ukraine's security without engaging in offensive operations. The exercise, named Koalicja, will test the rapid deployment capabilities of the multinational force and involve air and land operations near the Ukrainian border. While the exercise is not intended as a show of force, it may provoke a reaction from Russia, which remains resistant to peace negotiations. Light equipment will be used, focusing on coordination and logistical integration among participating nations.
