Eve Demoen becomes the new director of the Modemuseum Hasselt: "I want to make the museum more accessible"
Eve Demoen has been appointed as the new director of the Hasselt Fashion Museum, succeeding Karolien De Clippel. With 17 years of experience as a curator, Demoen aims to make the museum more accessible to a broader audience. She plans to host the international exhibition 'Catwalk: the Art of the Fashion Show' in February, showcasing 125 years of fashion evolution. Demoen emphasizes the importance of relatable exhibitions, having previously contributed to 'M&Others,' which explored the connection between fashion and motherhood. She also intends to strengthen collaborations with local Limburg designers and enhance the museum's own collection.
