The European Commission approved the last billions for the Czech Republic under the National Recovery Plan

The European Commission has provisionally approved an additional 23 billion CZK for the Czech Republic to support the National Recovery Plan. This seventh and final payment will fund various initiatives, including community energy development, public transport electrification in Prague, and the establishment of new university campuses. The funds aim to enhance affordable housing, healthcare, and digital skills for teachers, while also supporting energy-efficient renovations of public buildings. The financing comes from the Recovery and Resilience Facility, established to mitigate the pandemic's economic impacts and promote ecological and digital transformations.
