Ex Ilva, al via lo spegnimento degli altiforni

This morning, operations to shut down the blast furnaces of the former Ilva in Taranto began following a Supreme Court decision. The court rejected appeals from AdI in As and Ilva in As, upholding a previous ruling that halted operations in the hot area due to an injunction by local citizens. Liz Italia is currently extinguishing burners used for preheating the blast furnace cowpers, with completion expected by the end of the week. Additionally, the laminating department's TNA is set to restart until December 14, after which it will halt again, with another restart planned for January.
