Ex-Unmanned Systems Forces commander Sukharevskyi to lead Ukraine's Marines, media reports

Colonel Vadym Sukharevskyi has been appointed as the new commander of Ukraine's Marines, replacing Major General Dmytro Deliatytskyi. His previous role was leading the Unmanned Systems Forces, which he held briefly before being dismissed due to disagreements with military leadership. Sukharevskyi is recognized for his historical role in Ukraine's resistance against Russian aggression, particularly during the early conflict in Donbas and the liberation of Kherson. His appointment is part of a broader military reshuffle aimed at reforming Ukraine's command structure. The Marine Corps has been actively engaged in key battles since the full-scale invasion began.
