Exit poll: first woman elected president of Bulgaria

Iliana Jotowa is projected to win the Bulgarian presidential election with 50.7 to 52.5 percent of the votes, facing Andrej Giurow, who is expected to receive around 44 percent. Jotowa, who previously served as acting president, will be the first woman to hold the office in Bulgaria's democratic history. She aims to continue the policies of her predecessor, Rumen Radev, focusing on maintaining Bulgaria's European orientation while improving relations with Moscow. The official election results will be announced on Monday.
