Exit poll Israel: Netanyahu's party largest, but more support for rival's bloc

According to Channel 12's exit poll, opposition parties led by Eisenkot collectively hold 52 seats, while Netanyahu's Likud remains the largest party with 24 seats. However, Likud's coalition totals only 50 seats, indicating no clear winner. With no majority in the Knesset, parties may seek support from Palestinian and Arab parties, which hold 18 seats, though participation from these groups seems unlikely. The final election results will be confirmed by Friday, with an official announcement expected on November 6. President Herzog will then designate a party leader to initiate coalition negotiations, potentially allowing Eisenkot the first opportunity to form a government. If unsuccessful, other leaders may be given a chance, leading to new elections if no coalition is formed within the stipulated time.
