The Turkish ultra-cycling race, in which a Hungarian competitor was leading, was canceled due to extreme weather.

Benedek Borsos led the Taurus Mountain Race in Turkey when the event was halted for safety reasons. Despite being in first place, no official results have been announced. Borsos expressed disappointment but accepted the decision. The race, held for the first time, started on October 14 with nearly 250 competitors. Extreme weather conditions, including heavy rain and strong winds, disrupted the race, leading to landslides and rescue requests from competitors. The last 500 km of the race were canceled due to safety concerns.
