Fake certificates for foreigners in Poland. Authorities dismantled a criminal group
A criminal group operated across Poland from June 2022 to late 2025, focusing on providing forged educational documents to foreigners, mainly from Ukraine, Moldova, Belarus, and Georgia. These documents facilitated the acquisition of residence and work permits in Poland. Investigators uncovered the scheme in 2024, leading to the arrest of several individuals, including the group's leader, who was found with cash and linked to significant illicit financial transactions. A total of 19 Ukrainians, 3 Moldovans, and a Georgian have faced charges related to this organized crime.
