Factory, 27 million to open civic spaces for young people. Abodi: "This way they become protagonists"

The Italian government has launched "Fabbrica – Spazi civici per la gioventù," a program with €27 million in funding aimed at creating civic spaces for youth aged 14 to 35. The initiative, presented by Minister Andrea Abodi, will support 120-150 projects from sports associations and third sector entities, providing grants between €150,000 and €250,000. Applications will be accepted from November 4 to December 18, 2026. The program aims to foster local engagement and ensure that young people are active participants in public policies, rather than just recipients. The funding is part of a broader effort to enhance opportunities for youth in their communities.
