Instead of painkillers, synthetic opioids were sold online, leading to multiple deaths in the Netherlands

Three individuals were arrested in the Netherlands after the police dismantled 30 websites selling illegal drugs and counterfeit painkillers, following the deaths of three people who consumed these substances. The victims purchased pills advertised as oxycodone painkillers, which actually contained nitazenes, potent synthetic opioids. The arrested men were involved in the illegal drug trade, including the creation and maintenance of the selling websites and managing customer relations.
