FC Porto SAD issues bonds of 40 million with interest linked to sporting success

FC Porto SAD has announced a bond issuance of up to 40 million euros, with annual gross interest rates starting at 5.25%, potentially rising to 6% based on the team's sporting success. The bonds, linked to the club's performance from 2026 to 2029, will be available for public subscription from November 2 to 13. The interest rate increases by 0.15 percentage points for each Champions League group stage qualification and 0.1 for each national championship win. The minimum investment is set at 2,500 euros. This issuance aims to refinance a previous bond of 55 million euros due in December 2026, with additional financing options if necessary. This continues the debt refinancing strategy initiated by André Villas-Boas' administration.
