Feijóo vows conservative overhaul if he wins Spain’s Nov. 29 election

Alberto Núñez Feijóo, leader of the People's Party, announced plans for significant right-wing reforms in Spain, including changes to abortion and euthanasia laws, if elected on November 29. He aims to remove Prime Minister Pedro Sánchez from power and end eight years of Socialist governance. Feijóo, whose party has consistently led in polls, is open to forming a coalition with the far-right Vox party if necessary after the elections.
