András Fekete-Győr discusses the 2036 Budapest Olympics at the headquarters of the Hungarian Olympic Committee

On Wednesday, András Fekete-Győr will meet with MOB President Zsolt Gyulay and BOM President Attila Szalay-Berzeviczy to discuss the 2036 Olympics. Fekete-Győr, representing the NOlimpia movement, firmly opposes hosting the Olympics in Budapest, citing priorities such as saving water resources, modernizing schools and hospitals, and addressing deep poverty. He emphasizes that a country's greatness is determined by the quality of life it provides for its citizens, not by hosting global events. He views the meeting as a step forward for democratic dialogue and plans to advocate for a national referendum on the Olympics, alongside proposing an alternative development plan for Hungary without the Games.
