The calls for private equity funds are suspended, the Savings Cooperative Integration Organization is dissolved
András Kármán announced that state-majority private equity funds cannot request capital contributions without approval from 60% of investors for 90 days. This suspension aims to review previous decisions until due diligence is completed. The bill also abolishes the Savings Cooperative Integration Organization without a legal successor and eliminates joint liability among member banks. With the organization's dissolution, approximately 150 billion HUF in assets will transfer to the Hungarian National Asset Management Inc., including bonds worth nearly 190 billion HUF issued by Hungarian Bankholding.
