He put Vác on the football map, going duck hunting with Dénes Kemény – 80-year-old János Csank

János Csank, a former goalkeeper, achieved success as a coach in Hungarian football, notably leading Eger SE to promotion and winning the cup with Békéscsaba. He had a significant tenure at Váci I, where he won the club's first championship and received honorary citizenship. Csank briefly managed the Hungarian national team but left after 19 matches due to poor results. He later coached Ferencváros, winning the league title in his first season. Although he hasn't coached in the top divisions since 2016, he remains active in lower leagues and enjoys sports activities. Reflecting on aging, he finds joy in community and fitness despite the passage of time.
