Agadá Festival brings together Afro-Brazilian dance and music in Lisbon this weekend
The Agadá Festival, celebrating African dance and music, returns to Lisbon this weekend with workshops and cultural events. Brazilian choreographer Rosangela Silvestre will lead sessions on her Silvestre Technique and Òrìṣà symbolism. Founded in 2018, the festival fosters exchange among artists from Brazil, Portugal, and the African diaspora. Activities will take place at PISCINA studio, featuring percussion sessions and other workshops led by various artists. The festival aims to connect different generations through Afro-diasporic cultural expressions.
