Fiat strengthens its range of electric cars with Koala for €15,000

Fiat is set to launch an affordable electric vehicle named Koala, aimed at urban drivers and priced around €15,000. The new model will share its platform with the Citroën 2CV and is expected to debut in 2027. CEO Arnauld Belloni emphasized that the Koala will not have a retro design, unlike the Fiat 500. The design director, François Leboine, mentioned that the Koala is as advanced as the 2CV and is inspired by student concepts. Additionally, Fiat is preparing a successor to the current Panda, which will offer both combustion and electric engines, marking a significant shift in their vehicle lineup.
