Construction companies are facing an investment boom
Poland is set to experience a significant surge in infrastructure investments, including the Port Polska project and various transportation upgrades. The General Directorate for National Roads and Motorways plans to allocate 20 billion PLN annually until 2030, while Polish State Railways has increased its investment plans to 27 billion PLN for 2024. Budimex leads the construction sector with contracts exceeding 10 billion PLN. Major projects like the Podłęże-Piekiełko railway modernization aim to enhance regional connectivity and economic growth. However, challenges such as rising costs and administrative bottlenecks may arise, necessitating reforms in funding models to ensure stability and efficiency in the construction industry.
