Flavio Bolsonaro may not leave Brazil after election defeat
The Supreme Court ruled that Flavio cannot leave the country due to his suspected involvement in a money laundering case. He is accused of laundering hundreds of millions of pounds through gambling companies with the help of a lawyer. The court also imposed a contact ban with the lawyer. Flavio must surrender both his personal and diplomatic passports within 24 hours. After visiting his father, who is under house arrest, police ordered him to hand over his passports. Flavio, son of former president Jair Bolsonaro, described this as a "horror act". Despite losing the elections to Lula da Silva, he refuses to accept the defeat and seeks to invalidate the results, although his party acknowledged the election outcome in a statement.
